Old Time Hockey

Here's a clip of the Toledo Storm manhandling the Cincinnati Cyclones. First Jason Maleyko fights and then Nick Parillo beats up on somebody. Unfortunately, Nick got a 2 game suspension.

I'm Back

It's taken a bit of time to recover from last weeks debacle. But we must move on as there are other things to discuss.

Unfotunately, the Cowboys are not one of them. What a disgraceful peformance last night against the Giants of all teams. I hope if they do change to Romo, he improves.

Buckeyes continue to roll - everyone around here is looking forward to the big game on the 18th.

Went to the Storm home opener on Friday. They raised the Division Champs Banner and won 2-0. I'm glad hockey is back. It allows me to vent a the other team and the ref. I love sitting 6 rows behind the visiting penalty box.

A Busy Weekend

The weekened sure started off shitty with the two losses by the Mets. I was really pissed the whole weekend because of it.

I'm sure glad they played well last night to even the series. I really hope the Mets can make the Series. I'm already dealing with cocky Tigers fans at work.

Islanders have won two in a row at home.

Buckeyes with an easy win over the Spartans.

Got to watch most of the Cowboys game on Sunday. Great to see T.O. score 3 touchdowns. I loved his pose in the Star after the 3rd one.

Rainout tonight in St. Louis - back to work tomorrow.

How Sweep It Is!

That was easier then I thought it would be. Great job by the whole team - 1 through 25.

Great game by Super Jew tonight back in LA.

We await the Padres or the Cardinals.

Buckeyes with an easy win.

One final note:

BYE BYE YANKEES!

Wow

I don't think my heart can handle this pressure.

I had to listen to the first few innings at work. It was hard to visualize the double play at the plate but when I saw the video I couldn't believe it. That is a play that will be replayed forever.

Great job by John Maine stepping up. Carlos Delgado with a huge game and David Wright had some big hits. Wagner gave me some agita in the 9th but got the job done.

Let's hope Tommy Glavine has some playoff magic left in him.

And We're Back!

Took a little blogging break with the busy holiday period.

Playoffs start tomorrow for the Mets vs the Dodgers. With today's news about El Duque - I'm less then optomistic. I still thing the Mets will win the series.

Here's hoping the Tigers can surprise the Yankees. Being in Tigers country it was painful to watch their late season swoong which cost them the division.

I won't even get into the whole TO saga, but at least the Cowboys beat up on the Titans last week.

Buckeyes keep rolling along - I loved seeing the sad faces of all the Iowa fans late in the game on Saturday.

Looking forward to hockey starting this week. Hope the Islanders can be decent. The Storm starts in a couple of weeks. I'll be there on the 20th when they raise the Division Championship banner.

On the fantasy scene, I won my Head to Head baseball league and finished 3rd of 12 in the rotisserie league. Props to Kesten for winning.

Let's Go Mets!
