It's Been A While

Hello everyone. I'm back after a few weeks of being lazy and not wanted to make new posts.

What a strang and fast February it has been. We had a week were the temps were freezing - high around 5 and wind chills in the -30s. Then we had the blizzard on Valentine's Day and work was cancelled.

February has seen the Islanders have an awesome month - right in the thick of the playoff hunt. Huge trade yesterday acquiring Ryan Smyth from the Oilers. I hope we can sign him after the year is up.

Spring training has started! It sure is hard to erase the bad playoff memories from last season.

March is shaping up to be an exciting month for. The Sunday I am going to the Joe Louis Arena for the first time to see the Red Wings vs the Avalanche. Should be a great game.

Then, next weekend, I am flying to Las Vegas to meet my brother-in-law and go to the NASCAR race.

The following weekend we'll be in NY, visting my grandma and sister.

Here's to spring!

The Playmaker Is In!

I was so thrilled on Saturday when the announced the Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees for 2007.

Finally, my guy, Michael Irvin, the Playmaker, was selected. It took three years but he was finally chosen.

I have loved him since his days at the U. I love Troy and Emmitt, but Michael has always been my guy.

I am going to try to go to Canton this summer for the induction. It's only a couple of hours away.
