Wow!

It's been an interesting couple of weeks.

The Mets have begun the season 4-2. Four amazing wins with a lot of runs. 2 straight tough losses to the Braves. If the pitching can hold up, it should be a great season.

The Mud Hens started on the road last week and will open at home on Friday. I'm looking forward to seeing them raise a 2nd straight championship flag.

The Knicks still are fighting for a playoff spot - but it doesn't look good.

As far as the Final Four goes, it was nice to see the Buckeyes in the final, and of course I was rooting for them, but I really don't follow Ohio State basketball. It's nowhere near the level of craziness that football has and I already have 3 teams I root for in college hoops. In case you were wondering, that would be St. John's, Binghamton and Eastern Michigan.

The Storm finished in second place and the playoffs begin on Friday. It looks like we will be without hockey for a couple of years after this season -as they are demolishing the Sports Arena and haven't started to build the new one yet. Typical Toledo.

I listened to the game online and it was very nerve racking at the end. I almost lost it when the Devils scored with .7 seconds left. But it was meant to be as Dubie comes through in the shootout. It's now off to Buffalo.
