Whirlwind!

It has been a crazy couple of weeks.

I had a great time in Vegas. Turns out we had tickets to both races - on Saturday and Sunday. The weather was great - I got a bit of a sunburn. We tailgated before the races and after, grilling and drinking beer. Nothing like a couple of beers at 9AM. Both races were pretty good. The worst part of the weekend was taking the red eye on Sunday night and then going straight to work. I can't remember when I have been so tired. I was falling asleep at my desk. When I got home I fell asleep playing video games with Ellis. I was out cold at 7:30.

Then we went to New York. Stopped at the Crayola Factory in Easton, PA. That was a lot of fun. On Friday we drove into Manhattan in the snow storm to see my sister. We checked out her great new apartment and then took the bus and subway to Times Square. We rode the ferris wheel at Toys R Us and the checked out the dinosaurs at the Museum of Natural History. It was a good trip!

I'm leaving for Vegas tomorrow night to go to the NASCAR race. Should be a lot of fun.

Speaking of fun, the Red Wings game this past Sunday was very fun. The Wings lost in overtime but it was a fun experience. We had great seats, about 10 rows back between the goal and the corner. The arena is older (not as old as the Coliseum) but it had plenty of food booths and other stuff. Didn't look like there was a bad seat in the house.
